Daikin Airconditioning, called “Daikin Applied”, offers buyers (“Buyers”) that it will replace the parts that present manufacturing defects in the unit equipment (“Units”). Installation and start-up must have been executed by personnel that is certified by DAIKIN Applied Latin America LLC. These parts (“Parts”) include: compressors, condenser or evaporator coils, relays, and fan motors for products manufactured in Daikin factories – in Malaysia, Thailand, Houston and our OEM product line. Daikin Applied covers manufacturing defects in Parts when they are used under normal conditions, installed, and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Replacement Parts authorized under the Warranty will be delivered to the place where the equipment was installed, at the time that the certified technician is dispatched to install them. If it is a remote control, it will be delivered to the customer’s address. The Buyer will have 30 days to inspect the Parts upon receipt. The Guarantee begins the day of purchase and it is necessary to show your purchase receipt to validate. What the Warranty covers:

• Labor, international freight, or any other expense associated with the replacement service of Parts authorized under the Warranty.
• Coolant, fluids, oils, and consumable items like filters.
• Electricity, fuel costs or an increase in these costs for any reason.
• Accommodation or transportation of the technician that is required to replace the Part in the Unit.

This Warranty does not apply to Units that were not purchased through Daikin Applied, Parts for HVAC Units that are operated on projects which do not meet factory requirements, Parts that are damaged due to improper operation of the Units, or those that have been altered by individuals other than factory technicians.

 

 

The responsibility of Daikin Applied shall be limited to the lesser of the cost of correcting defects in the Parts sold or the original purchase price of the Parts.

THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES THE SOLE LIABILITY OF DAIKIN APPLIED AND THE SOLE OPTION OF THE BUYER. IT IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THERE IS NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF COMMERCIALIZATION OR SUITABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL DAIKIN APPLIED LATIN AMERICA, LLC, OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO OR RESULTING FROM UNPREDICTABLE OR INCIDENTAL CIRCUMSTANCES EVEN WHEN PREDICTED.
